What exactly is Oil Pulling?
Originating in India, Oil Pulling or (Swishing) is an ancient Ayurvedic practice dating back some 3,000 years.
Our Mouths are home to billions of bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Candida and Streptococcus are common residents in our mouths. It is these types of germs and their toxic waste that cause gum disease and tooth decay, which can contribute to many other health problems. In fact studies have shown that there is a significant connection between heart disease and oral health.

How do I use them?
I like to multi-task whilst oil pulling. I usually jump in the shower run the sachet under hot water if is has solidified rip open the packet and get swishing.

Best to perform oil pulling in the morning on an empty stomach.
Even 5 minutes has incredible benefits.
You do not have to swish everyday or for 20 minutes at a time. Start slowly remember your jaw is like any muscle in needs to be exercised to get stronger, start slowly and you will get used to it.
Relax as you swish – gently roll it around your mouth and squish between your teeth.
Always spit it out, preferably in a tissue or bin.
You don’t want to go swallowing all the toxins you have just bought to the surface so always brush your teeth afterwards.
